Caraibi con Richard Branson
Kate Winslet è stata invitata da Richard Branson, imprenditore
britannico (fondatore della Virgin Records, associata con la
Golden Hat di Kate Winslet) al bordo
della barca Necker Belle, per girare 2 video per il programma della Cnn
MainSail. Per l’occasione, la nostra attrice ha ripreso il ruolo di Rose
DeWitt Bukater del celebre titanic, gridando “Jack, sto volando!” tra le

Nell'aprile
2011 Kate Winslet ha partecipato al progetto Mayday Mullagh che vede
riunire professionisti e creativi rispondere alle domande “perché fai
quello che fai?” e “cosa avresti fatto in alternativa?”. Potete vedere

Nel febbraio 2010
(prima di annunciare il divorzio da Sam Mendes) Kate rilascia
un'interessante video intervista a GMTV dove rivela, tra le altre cose,
quali sono i momenti della sua carriera che le sono rimasti più
impressi: ad esempio The Reader, dove per la prima volta si è sentita
abbastanza soddisfatta della sua performance. Ma le piacerebbe tornare a
vestire i panni eccentrici di un personaggio alla Clementine di Eternal
Sunshine. Le sue icone di stile? Meryl Streep e Angelina Jolie.
Nel 2004 Kate
Winslet è stata intervistata da James Lipton per il programma
Inside the
actors studio, dove ha rilasciato una bella intervista dove
ripercorre la propria carriera.
Nel 2006 Kate
Winslet è stata ospite del programma Parkinson, dove ha rilasciato una
bellissima ntervista su Little Childre e il marito Sam Mendes (al 5°
minuto della II parte una Kate emozionata e emozionante!!).

sono autori la cui produzione è segnata da uno stile così
specifico da essere inconfondibile. John Barry (Nata Libera,
La mia Africa, i molti film di 007) è uno di questi. Il
musicista inglese mette la sua fluente Creatività melodica e
la capacità di interpretare le ragioni del dramma al
servizio dello score di Enigma. Il risultato è un soundtrack
convincente nelle parti più "liriche" (bello il tema
principale che accompagna i momenti romantici), decisamente
meno efficace e un pò ripetitivo invece il tema che
caratterizza lo sviluppo della suspence.
